Bangladesh Cricket team escape Christchurch mosque shooting

Bangladesh's cricket team who are touring New Zealand escaped the shooting at the Christchurch mosque by minutes.

ESPN Cricinfo’s Bangladesh Correspondent Mohammad Isam was at the mosque with Bangladesh cricket team who are travelling New Zealand.

He told 1 NEWS he was with players, as they were about to enter the mosque, and a lady came out telling them not to enter, so the team ran out and escaped.

He confirms all members of the team, bar two, were there, but got away.
