Baby in serious condition after being struck by car in Whangamata driveway

A child has been hit by a car in a drive way in Whangamata in the Coromandel this morning.

The child was airlifted to Waikato Hospital in a serious condition, a Police spokesperson said.

The crash on Beverley Terrace happened just after 9:15am.

Police are investigating the scene.
