Auckland's Southern Line train services resume after vehicle hits overbridge near Ellerslie

Train services on Auckland's Southern Line have resumed after they were cancelled when a vehicle hit a train overbridge near Ellerslie this morning.

The delays were caused by a vehicle hitting a train overbridge, Auckland Transport said. Source: Breakfast

Engineers have cleared the bridge, which is now safe to travel on at a reduced speed, Auckland Transport said on Twitter. 

Southern Line trains will operate on their normal route. Minor delays are expected as trains resume their scheduled services.
