The students and staff of Orewa College, north of Auckland, gathered today to show support for the victims and families affected by the two Christchurch mosque attacks on Friday.
“Innocent people have been killed in their place of worship, a place where they should expect to be safe,” the school said in a statement.
Students have brought flowers to place beneath the flagpole which will be at half-mast.
The school are providing resources to support their students through this time.
