An Auckland punter has struck the $16 million Powerball jackpot and walks away with $16.2 million including $250,000 from Lotto First Division.
The winning ticket was sold online on MyLotto to a player from Auckland, Lotto said after tonight's draw.
It's the sixth time this year that Powerball has been struck, following an $11 million Powerball win by a Hawke's Bay punter in March.
Three other Lotto players from Auckland, Napier and Porirua will also be celebrating tonight after winning $250,000 with Lotto First Division.
Those winning Lotto tickets were sold at United Video Blockhouse Bay in Auckland, Tamatea Pak N Save in Napier and on MyLotto to a player from Porirua.
Meanwhile, Strike Four was also won tonight by a player from Whangarei, who took home $500,000. The winning Strike ticket was sold at Pak N Save Whangārei.
Lotto says anyone who bought their ticket from any of the winning stores should write their name on the back of their ticket and check it immediately in-store at any Lotto shop, online at MyLotto.co.nz or through the Lotto NZ App.
