The stores went into receivership earlier this month amid mounting losses after opening its Auckland store in early 2015.

The receivers of Top Retail Limited, which owns Topshop and Topman, said in a statement today, "It is with regret that we have had to inform staff today that the business is unable to continue trading and that Topshop and Topman will no longer have a presence in New Zealand from Sunday".
A closing down sale is expected for both stores before its closure on October 1.
The stores may close earlier if they run out of stock before its closing date.
