A major expansion of Auckland International Airport is about to get underway which includes a second runway.
Over the next decade more than 60 acres of land, the size of about 30 rugby fields, will be converted into new airfield space.
It'll be able to accommodate up to six of the world's largest passenger planes as they refuel, stock up and undergo servicing.
By 2044 it's estimated around 260,000 flights and 40 million passengers will be using the airport each year.
