Antarctic scientists have found a way to help us better predict our weather forecasts in New Zealand.

A lot of the research is being done by remote control.

Helium balloons linked to the internet have been launched over the ice to track the volatile continents extreme weather conditions which will in turn help New Zealand develop better weather modelling systems.
