August 10, 2018

The search on Takaka Hill will continue today for missing Motueka man Jason Campbell who hasn’t been seen for over a week.

The Air Force have been helping Tasman Police search and rescue.

Over the weekend they revisited the most probable locations and went into more remote areas that hadn’t yet been searched.

Police continue to ask for anyone with information regarding Campbell to contact them.

His silver van was found at Bob's Lookout on Takaka Hill on Tuesday.

Police are asking residents in the area to check the buildings on their property, as they believe Mr Campbell may have taken shelter in one of them.

The 35-year-old is considered to be competent outdoorsman, having previously worked for the Department of Conservation (DOC).

However Police have grave concerns for Mr Campbell’s safety.
