A Victorian couple will forever remember Adele's concert in Melbourne last night, and not just for the music, but for becoming engaged on stage in front of a sold-out crowd.
Adele brought the male couple Chris and Wade onto the stage during the show, not expecting for the proposal to unfold.
But then Wade got down on a bended knee to make the proposal to Chris in front of the surprised British singer at the Etihad Stadium.
When Chris said "yes", the crowd erupted into applause and the newly engaged couple kissed and were embraced by Adele.
"That wasn't planned, I had no idea," Adele is quoted by Nine News as saying after the show.
The couple won't be able to get married in Australia as federal law does not allow for same sex marriage.
Adele is now preparing for shows at Auckland's Mt Smart Stadium on Thursday, Saturday and Sunday.
