US actor Steven Seagal has stormed out of a BBC interview after being questioned about rape allegations by the host.

The Under Siege star was being interviewed on Newsnight by Kirsty Wark when the interview went in a direction that wasn't to Seagal's liking.

"You've been very much caught up in all the allegations of sexual harassment, you had a rape allegation against you and I wonder how you deal with all that?" Ms Wark asked.

Seagal looked to become visibly angry during the question and ripped out his earpiece before the host could finish it.

He then stood up and stormed off, leaving a bewildered host in his wake.

Seagal has been accused of harassment and sexual assault by a number of women, including Arrested Development's Portia de Rossi and The Good Wife star Julianna Margulies.
