US actor Jason Mitchell, famous for his portrayal of rapper Eazy-E in Straight Outta Compton, has been caught in a foul mouthed meltdown after missing a flight and being put in economy.
Footage obtained by TMZ shows Mitchell yelling at staff on a Delta Airlines flight saying they had double booked his seat and downgraded him to economy.
Later a Delta spokesperson clarified the situation, saying the actor had in fact missed his original flight and they had managed to get him on a new one, where the only seat available was a comfort+ seat in economy.
This didn't stop Mitchell from refusing to take the seat, instead launching into a tirade where he called one flight attendant a "p***y" and repeatedly yelled "f**k you" at anyone in earshot.
Eyewitnesses told TMZ the actor was eventually taken off the plane, with police briefly detaining him in handcuffs.
Delta refused to press charges and Mitchell was released. He is yet to make a statement on the incident.
