Watch: Neil Finn impresses in debut performance with Fleetwood Mac on Ellen

Kiwi music legend Neil Finn has appeared on Ellen in his first public performance as part of Fleetwood Mac.

The former Crowded House frontman was picked up by the band in April after Lindsey Buckingham was fired.

The new look lineup performed two classic hits, The Chain and Gypsy.

Finn's vocals were prominent in both songs played and Ellen was impressed by their performance.

"I can't believe how good you all sound, I mean it's so exciting to hear you," she said.

Fleetwood Mac are playing at an iHeart Radio Music Festival in Las Vegas later this month, before embarking on a six-month tour of North America.
