Watch: Kiwi Tongan teen Selevasio Tuima stuns Aussie judges with heart-rending version of Hallelujah

October 3, 2017

A Kiwi teenage singing sensation has stunned judges while performing on an Australian talent show.

Selevasio Tuima, 14, appeared on Little Big Shots to sing the Leonard Cohen classic Hallelujah.

The St Paul's College student wowed the judges, and the audience as well, with his angelic voice.

He received rapturous applause for his efforts.

It's not the first time the Kiwi Tongan teen has wowed the crowd, with a then 13-year-old Selevasio taking to the stage at Auckland's Christmas in the Park last December.

The video of Selevasio singing on Little Big Shots has already racked up nearly 300,000 views since being posted on Channel 7's Facebook page yesterday.

His new found exposure in Australia means Selevasio is definitely one to watch for the future.
