Watch: Hilary Barry chats with soul legend Gladys Knight ahead of New Zealand tour

The American’s career spans seven decades and she’ll play two shows here in February.

The Empress of Soul, Gladys Knight is coming to New Zealand next February. 

She will perform in New Zealand for the first time in more than 20 years.

The soul star and her nine-piece band will perform at the Civic Theatre in Auckland on February 13 and the Christchurch Town Hall on February 15. 

Seven Sharp host Hilary Barry spoke to the soul singer in the video above.
