It was more a case of wheel of misfortune for one unlucky duo, when they narrowly missed out on winning a whopping $US1 million on the popular US game show last night.
Frank and Laurel made it to the final round of Wheel of Fortune where they chose food and drink as their category.
After choosing their letters, the couple was then left with eight blank spaces to fill in to complete the puzzle.
Only seconds were left on the clock when Laurel shouted out "fried zucchini" as the answer, only to be left oh so close when the answer was revealed to be baked zucchini.
Things only got worse for the hapless duo, as the host revealed they had just come agonisingly close to taking out the top life-changing prize.
Since being posted to YouTube under the title wheel of fortune sad, the clip has had nearly 200,000 views and plenty of comments commiserating with the pair.
"This was so painful to watch," Trevor. L commented. "Who bakes zucchini tho," Nolan T wrote.
One thing is for sure, Frank and Laurel may never be able to enjoy zucchini again.
