Defence attorney Tom Mesereau seized on discrepancies between Dickinson's testimony today and what she wrote in her 2002 autobiography about the encounter with Cosby in a hotel room in Lake Tahoe, California.

Dickinson says she wrote about the assault in her book, but Cosby and his lawyers pressured her and the publisher to remove the details. She says she went along because she needed the money.

Dickinson told Cosby's lawyer she "wasn't under oath" when she wrote the book like she is now.

Cosby is charged with sexually assaulting a woman at his home in 2004.

He says it was consensual.

The Associated Press does not identify sexual assault victims unless they grant permission. Dickinson has done so.
