Straight men marry each other to win Rugby World Cup trip

Two best mates married each other at Eden Park this morning in a radio station promotion which rewards them with a trip to the Rugby World Cup.

Love You Man winners marry

Travis McIntosh and Matt McCormick, both heterosexual men, tied the knot as winners of the Edge's Love You Man competition.

The best mates from Dunedin beat 200 other bromance couples around New Zealand to walk down the aisle at Eden Park.

To coincide with the Breakfast programme broadcast, the wedding ceremony took place at 7.30am complete with a cake, signing of the registry and first dance.

Photos of the ceremony were posted on the Edge's instagram account throughout the morning.

Under New Zealand marriage law, the pair may not file for divorce for at least two years.

The wedding was a culmination of a competition by the Edge to win tickets to the 2015 London Rugby World Cup.
