The Fleetwood Mac star will play at Auckland's Spark Arena and Dunedin's Forsyth Barr Stadium as part of her 24 Karat Gold tour where she will be joined by The Pretenders.

The 69-year-old was last in New Zealand in 2015 when she toured with Fleetwood Mac.

The eight-time Grammy-nominated artist named the tour after her 2014 album 24 Karat Gold - Songs from the Vault, which debuted at No.7 on the Billboard Top 200 chart.

Tickets for Stevie Nicks' New Zealand tour go on sale on August 18. A pre-sale begins on August 17.
