Rapper Cardi B arrived in New York court over alleged strip club brawl

Cardi B appeared at Queens Criminal Court over her alleged involvement in a strip club brawl in September.

The rapper signed the renewal of two protection orders which stops her from contacting, either in person or through social media, two people who were allegedly injured in the fracas.

Police say Cardi B and her entourage were at the Angels Strip Club club around 3 a.m. on 29 September when she argued with a 23-year-old bartender.

They say a fight broke out during which chairs, bottles and hookah pipes were thrown, slightly injuring the bartender and another employee.

The star, whose real name is Belcalis Almanzar, was charged with misdemeanor reckless endangerment and assault.

Her lawyer has said she didn't harm anybody.
