Metal legends Metallica announce one-off New Zealand show

Heavy metal legends Metallica will play a one-off show in Auckland later this year.

Supported by Slipknot, Metallica will play Auckland's Mt Smart Stadium on October 31 as part of their WorldWired Tour that began in 2016.

It's the first time Metallica have performed here since 2010.

Pre-sale tickets will be available on Tuesday, with general sales available on March 18.
