The Spice Girls' upcoming reunion tour is "going to be a celebration - everybody's welcome, every boy and every girl," says Geri Horner, AKA Ginger Spice.
She was speaking on UK radio station Heart overnight on a show hosted by fellow band member Emma Bunton (Baby Spice) and Jamie Theakston.
Horner was joined on the breakfast show by Mel B (Scary Spice) and Mel C (Sporty Spice) but not Victoria Beckham (Posh Spice), who will not be part of the girl band's upcoming performances.
The Spice Girls announced the short UK tour on Tuesday, revealing that Beckham would not take part because of business commitments.
Mel C said making the decision to go on the road without Beckham was "tough."
"Obviously she's a huge part of the band," she said. "She's excited for us. And it's going to be strange because none of us can watch the Spice Girls on stage but she will be able to."
During the show, Theakston put the girls on the spot with a few cheeky questions.
The most notable was "which Spice Girl needs the money the most?"
Mel B was quick to answer, "Me, because I'm divorced" - a statement that impressed Horner. "You know what, I love her honesty. Don't you just love that? Breath of fresh air," she said.
Mel B then chimed in, "Can I just rectify, I actually don't need the money because I'm actually quite rich. I'm just doing it because I love you ladies."
The six show UK tour will mark the first time the group has performed together since the 2012 Olympics.
June 2019 dates have been scheduled in Manchester, Coventry, Sunderland, Edinburgh, Bristol and London.
