Meet the South Auckland singers who're stars in Croatia

Two South Auckland brothers have surprised themselves by finding singing success on the other side of the world in Croatia.

Seven Sharp reports Christian and Austin Malletoa-Brown, aka Klapa Samoana, toured a bit in Croatia but still had to keep their New Zealand day jobs - reluctantly.

Time passed and their dream of singing careers seemed to be getting further away.

Then the Croatian team qualified for the Football World Cup final and Christian and Austin made a video of their singing in a car.

Suddenly it went viral on Facebook and ended up on national TV in Croatia.

The duo have even had a town square named after them in Zargost, Croatia, and they were there for the opening of it.

Tim Wilson heard Christian and Austin's story and their songs in South Auckland, and you can see his full story in the video above.
