Lorde has dropped a series of glimpses at her upcoming release, teasing fans with lyric snippets at three locations across Auckland.
The words "Green light" were projected on a downtown brick wall, hinting at the name of her new single.
The Royals singer tweeted a map to three spots around the city where fans could find installations: a green-lit smoking car in Ponsonby, Herne Bay beach lit up in green, and a projection of a snippet of her upcoming song on a wall in Queen Street.
Lorde releases another cryptic video ahead of highly anticipated album.
Thousands of fans turned out, some wading through knee deep water from one beach to the next, to reach the installation, after Lorde tweeted the wrong location and confused fans.
The new music is expected to be released on Friday.
It has also been announced that the singer will appear on America's Saturday Night Live on March 11 with Scarlett Johansson.
