American late night television host Jimmy Kimmel has lashed out at Prime Minister Bill English over his choice of pizza toppings.
Mr English shared images of his family dinner on Facebook on Monday night, asking people to "like" his post if they "agree with tinned spaghetti on pizza".
The US comedian was less than impressed with Mr English's culinary skills, calling his tinned spaghetti and pineapple creation "offensive."
"We can be pretty hard on Donald Trump but they have a guy in New Zealand, the Prime Minister of New Zealand, a gentleman named Bill English, who I think is even worse and I am going to show you why," he told his audience last night while showing Mr English's Facebook post.
"Now, I don't know if you can see that but tinned spaghetti is canned spaghetti and not only did he put it on a pizza, he put it on a pineapple pizza."
Mr Kimmel went on to slam the pizzas, saying "that is an act of war. I think he just declared war on Italy and maybe Hawaii too".
"Impeach that man immediately, New Zealand. This is why I've always preferred Old Zealand."
