The gig at AMI Stadium on February 21 has been pitched as an "special and emotive" event on the eve of the 2011 earthquake anniversary.

But fans who missed out on seats can still grab tickets to see Springsteen and his E Street Band play in Auckland's Mt Smart Stadium on February 25.

The shows are part of a nine-date tour of Australasia.

Springsteen last played New Zealand in 2014.
