Alice Cooper heading back to New Zealand, 40 years after first playing here




American rocker Alice Cooper is to play two shows in New Zealand in Wellington and Auckland in October.

The 69-year-old first played to a New Zealand audience in 1977 and is returning 40 years later as part of his "Spend The Night With Alice Cooper" World Tour.

The School's Out singer will be accompanied by Kiss guitarist Ace Frehley.

He'll be playing Auckland's Trusts Arena on October 27 and Wellington's TSB Arena on October 28.
