Valentine’s Day is nearly upon us and love is in the air, but Seven Sharp co-hosts Hilary Barry and Jeremy Wells aren’t getting caught up in it.
After a story on tonight’s show about the possible introduction of country of origin labelling on flowers, Barry presented Wells with a bunch of flowers to give to his fiancée Tulsi Bramley as an apology.
“I actually bought these for Tulsi because I know you’re not particularly romantic but I thought that you could give these New Zealand-grown flowers to your lovely fiancée as a bit of an apology for me ribbing you about getting married last night,” Barry said.
"That’s so kind of you, maybe I’ll put one in here, do you want a dance?” Wells asked Barry as he put a rose in his mouth.
“Oh, why not?” Wells said as Barry repeatedly denied him.
“How about a little foxtrot or something?”
