Pro BMX rider Tyler Fernengel turns abandoned Silverdome into playground

BMX rider Tyler Fernengel turned Detroit's abandoned Pontiac Silverdome into his own playground.

Red Bull helped Fernengel put the video together of him performing an array of difficult tricks and manoeuvres.

The 19-year-old Pro BMX rider said he used to attend Supercross events with his father at the stadium.

"My dad entered me in the amateur Supercross races held at the Silverdome. Amateurs would compete the day before the pro Supercross," said Fernengel.

The young star performed stunts throughout the abandoned stadium which used to be the home of the NFL's Detroit Lions.
