This is the story of Mitchell Pham, who is a refugee from Vietnam.

When the Vietnam war finally ended Mitchell and his family were thrown further into chaos. After two failed escape missions, each resulting in Mitchell’s father being sent to labour camps and Mitchell, his mum and his siblings being sent to prison it was decided that the next escape would be a solo mission.

In this episode of Spiky Gold Hunters, newcomer Storm is along for the ride. Despite being only 16, he is determined to make his mark as a valued member of the crew.

Plus, Dwane’s friend and fellow diver Tim also joins the team as they set out collecting a slimy alternative to urchin!

Also, a boisterous seven gill shark foces Dwane to make an executive decision.

Fourteen races in twelve of the world’s most progressive cities over five continents, TVNZ’s coverage of the new Formula E season opens with live coverage of the two races from Diriyah in Saudi Arabia.

Kiwi driver Mitch Evans continues to drive with his Panasonic Jaguar Racing team and will be joined on the start line with Kiwi compatriot and former Formula 1 driver Brendon Hartley, who makes his all-electric debut, driving for Geox Dragon.

Qualifying is Live on TVNZ DUKE from 8:45pm Friday night followed by the race coverage starting at midnight.

Simulcast coverage on TVNZ1 also starts at 12:30am.

Wu-Tang Clan: Of Mics & Men

This docuseries looks back on the group's career, combining intimate and reflective interviews from each of the nine living members with never-before-seen archival footage and performances.
