In this week's edition of Inside Parliament, 1 NEWS political editor Jessica Mutch McKay and political reporters Benedict Collins and Maiki Sherman discuss how Labour’s shock capital gains back-track dominated a huge week in New Zealand politics.

The announcement arrived just after the latest 1 NEWS poll showed Labour and Prime Minister Jacinda Ardern up in the wake of her Christchurch response and China trip. 

We also polled responses to gun law changes. And this week saw a very public communications scuffle between the Government and Red Cross over a captured Kiwi nurse.
