Woman who died in Methven was understood to be mother of five, as police investigation continues

Police are investigating the unexplained death of a woman in Methven, Canterbury yesterday.

Stuff is reporting that the woman, in her thirties, is understood to be Holly Kereru, a mother of five living at a property next to Our Lady of the Snows Church.

Police and emergency services were called to a property on Main street about 9:30am, where the woman was found dead.

The cause of death is yet to be determined by investigators.

The scene will be examined over the next few days, and a post-mortem will be undertaken today.
