A pilot has sustained very minor injuries, after a light replica vintage plane was forced to make an emergency landing in Welcome Bay, Tauranga this afternoon.
Police responded to an emergency landing shortly after 3pm, with the incident occurring on Kaitemako South Road.
The pilot was the sole occupant of the light replica vintage plane. The Civil Aviation Authority has been notified of the incident.
